Hello,
sorry for my English.
I have an article with a link to another article in popup mode that contains two images in the content. In the parameters, in media type I defined "extern link / iframe" but when opening, it does not show the modules or header etc., only the content of the article and when clicking on the images, the effect is the one that you have explained to me and when closing the second popup, the first one closes.
If in this first popup I click on the link again to load the article, then it does the effect that I want and I can open several popups one inside the other.
This second behavior is what I want to perform.
I am working in local mode, but I attached a link to a video demonstration of this.
Thank you
regards
Jose

When an article is opened in the popup, only the article content is shown, not the entire site. Any existing popup links within this article content are configured to open on top of the content popup, not inside it.

The second link you clicked on was not a popup link, so it was not configured to open as an article popup, but as a new window in the popup iframe. This then allowed the images to be opened as popups within the iframe, as you had effectively loaded the whole site again, with the popups re-initialized. This is a quirk of the system and not intended behaviour, ie: you cannot open popups within popups.
Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean everybody isn't out to get you.
