Hello,

since one of the last updates the editor is no longer displayed correctly in the frontend.
Frontend lacks the editing functions.
I noticed the problem with 2.7.8. (maybe it happens with the earlier version). In the meantime i installed 2.7.9 (the same problem)
Template is one of yootheme.

Backend works fine

....

Best regards
Andrew

My error was coused by and option in the tempalte "Compress Javascripts" form Joomshaper.
is it posible to fix this the 2.6.* versions were all working with this option on

P.s.

With javascript file do i need to exclude if i want it to work?

Is this in the Helix Ultimate template?

no its Shaper Educon Template

Ryan
In the Exclude Javascript box in the Advanced -> Compression section of the template's settings, add:

tiny_mce.js,editor.min.js

Hi
the hint is good.
In the settings of (my) template it's sufficient to disable "gzip".
(the settings for compression of javascript and css could remain unchanged).
Thanks a lot.

Hi Support,

We have also this issue with version 2.7.11
We also have a yootheme tamplate.
On back-end it works fine.

We don't have a exclude java-script setting in the template.

If we use JEvent on the front-end it's not possible to save a event.
When we turn back to version 2.6.38 all issues where solved.
So the new version 2.7.11 have still issues I think.

Kind regards,
Lumiga

Done! thanks in advance

Ryan
@Sailfin# - In the template options, I have set Compression option to Minify + Data URIs instead of Minify + Data URIs + Gzip and the editor is now loading in the front-end.
