Hello - a client of mine is struggling with creating a page of quotes http://outdoor-kitchen.biz/kotlich-information/recommendations.html
If she creates a new paragraph above or below the existing <blockquote>, highlights it and then clicks on the blockquote button, it does not create a <blockquote> but instead puts it into the one above. See attachment.
The only way I can get it to work is to do it in the code for her, which is of no use to her. I am using the latest version as I upgraded her JCE yesterday.
Thanks
EDIT - Container Element & Enter Key is set to "Paragraph Container & Paragraph on Enter"

This is one of those "features" that has existed in TinyMCE for some time. It would seem that the intention was for blockquotes to wrap around the block element they were being applied, and also to merge adjacent blockquote elements.
I have made a small change to fix this, although I'm not 100% sure this is how it should be.
Replace tiny_mce.js in /components/com_jce/editor/tiny_mce/ with the file in the attached zip.

Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean everybody isn't out to get you.
