Hello,

i want to apply front end posting from anyone, however if i set this up, i get beneath the textbox/ editor the button IMAGE, which sends me to the media mananger of joomla , and not to the JCE Editor Pro.

What to do?

You can disable the Image button below the editor in Extensions -> Plugins. Search for "Button - Image" and then disable it.

Hey,

i was aware of that, i don't want to disable the button, if one clicks that button, i want to show the directory according to jce editor settings, not the joomla settings.

This is not currently possible.

The editor supplies alternatives in the toolbar for most of the buttons below the editor, making them effectively redundant.

It is technically possible, but is not something that I am going to do, as the functionality is already offered via the Image Manager and Image Manager Extended buttons in the editor toolbar.
