Joomla: 5.1.4
Template: tp_ultimate 1.3.18
Framework: Astroid 3.1.3
JCE Editor: pro 2.9.80

Hello,

after moving to a new hoster, the following error occurs.

When I create a new post or edit an existing post, the following error message appears:

Invalid field: Author

This means that the post cannot be saved, of course.

The problem only occurs when I use the JCE editor.

When I switch to the Tiny editor, everything works perfectly.

I think it has something to do with the move, because there are no problems on other installations with the same version.

Best regards

Manfred

This might be related to one of the editor-xtd buttons displayed below the editor, which are Joomla core buttons and buttons from installed extensions. By default JCE renders these differently to Tinymce, which is why you might be seeing the error in JCE only.

You can confirm this by switching the editor to CodeMirror, which also displays the buttons like JCE.

If this is the issue, then you need to determine which of these buttons is causing the issue, by disabling and enabling each button in turn, in System -> Manage -> Plugins (set the Filter Type field to "editor-xtd" to only display these buttons.)

If this is not the issue, then please send me a login - https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/contact/site-login

Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean everybody isn't out to get you.

Hello, sorry, everything is fine with the JCE editor. That was my stupid mistake. After the move, I created a new user and deleted the old one. It's logical that the post has a problem with the "author". Post --> publication --> new user assigned --> everything is fine best
