In a previous question you taught me how to format photos into a column. That works great. However, there are many actions (11). I wonder if this can be done in some kind of macro or something similar.
I still have a lot of photos to do and some kind of automation would be nice.

I agree, and I am looking into this to see if there is a way to do this with exsiting JCE features, like dynamic templates in the Template Manager.

I don't have a solution for this right now, especially in relation to columns, but I am working on adding options to the Image Manager Extended, that allow you to add a caption to the image (which will use the <figure> tag) and an option to wrap multiple images in columns.
I will be working on this over the next week, and will post a link to a beta here when it is ready.

I just renewed my subscription to the JCE module!
However, there is still an open question of mine regarding putting a photo in a column of text!
Which requires a lot of actions. The response stated that it would be looked into, but I have heard nothing more.
I still have to process many photos in this way so a solution would be very welcome.

This has turned out to be a little more complicated than I initially anticipated, and I usually hope for some inspiration when trying to solve these kinds of difficult problems - in this case implemeting Popups + Captions + Columns in one action - which has unfortunately not happened.
I am continuing to work on this, and will hopefully have a solution soon, perhaps in JCE Pro 2.9.83
