Hi,

every year, when i renew JCE editor license, i hope, that is very easy and it is very uncomplicated to set up inline upload for images pasting from word content - and everytime i will be disappointed - this is a little bit annoying.

I bought 2.9.81 license fifteen minutes ago and the first test was: i check, that image inline upload is activated in default profile and then i try to paste and copy a word document content into joomla article with an inline image.

I expect: jce will not paste the image immediately but wil show a placeholder to paste there my image manually but i see no placeholder. What do i wrong ?

Regards

Ryan

Pasting images from Word behaves differently to pasting content from other sources because of the way Word embeds images in documents. I've not yet been able to figure out how to extract the image from Word (it is a link to a document on your local machine).

In any case, the image would still need to be uploaded to your server, so using a placeholder to allow you to select the image is I think a reasonable compromise.

Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean everybody isn't out to get you.

I found solution for myself - "inline upload" is not sufficient to get placeholder function

YOU HAVE TO GOTO CLIPBOARD PLUGIN SETTING AND SWITCH ON "PROCESS IMAGE " to set placeholder function working

This is not very intuitive and not very user friendly - please, please, please change that user unfriendly setting to:

If "inline upload" is activated, a new option will be show in the same setting area are under "inline upload" and here the user can set "Process Image" directly.

Please.....
