Good morning,
I have used your editor for years. I vaguely remember the ability to add layers to a document in the past. I could be misremembering this though.
What I have is a video that is showing on the front page of my site. I would like to overlay my logo on top of it. I could do this with CSS code easily, but I suspect this would prevent the automatic resizing to make it look rather wonky.
Is there a way for me to overlay my logo over the top of the video in JCE???
With regards,
Ron

The Layers plugin was removed from the package some years ago as it was difficult to use and prodice good results with.

Do you want the logo to be visible while the video is playing, or just before it starts (a placeholder)?

Good morning Ryan,
I actually managed to get this done using a combination of the CSS Position and CSS z-index commands along with the CSS top and CSS left commands to actually locate it where I wanted it to be.
I did want it to be there while the video played and not disappear.
Finally, I am glad that I am not misremembering the layers function. I thought I might be going a little senile there for a while. :)
Cheers,
Ron

Nice. Are you also using the Responsify plugin? - https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/downloads/plugins/joomla/responsify

I was not aware of Responsify's existence. I will give it a shot now.
Thanks for the heads-up.

Hey Ryan,
Responsify seems to want some kind of "Download Key" and I can't find anywhere on your site where I can get that. Would you please enlighten me on where to get such a thing.
Thanks again,
Ron

The Download Key is for updates, as with JCE Pro. You don't need it to use the plugin.
You can get the Download Key in Your Account - https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/your-account - it is the same key as for JCE Pro.
and set in the same way as with JCE Pro - https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/support/faq/subscription/using-the-subscription-key
