I am using 2 Media JCE fields (subform only) in multiple subforms in on article. They are called download presentation and download presentation 2.

It was working fine for years but now I don't see the files to select anymore. The file type of the 2 Media JCE fields are documents.

It is working fine on the first subform but no on the following ones.

Last time those fields were used and working fine was in August 2024. Maybe a clue for the changes that happened since that date.

Any ideas?

Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean everybody isn't out to get you.

Are you referring to articles edited in the front-end of the site?

If I edit one of the news articles, the buttons appear as expected for the subforms, as they do when editing the article in the admin.

Sorry, I forgot to give you the way to go to the problem:

The problem occurs in the back-end when creating or editing an article of the presentations category.

Take the BIR Singapore 2024. in the presentations tab you will see a lot of subforms, You can add 1 in the first one (Opening / Keynote / Special Session) Then select a file in the folder sin-2024 it should show you some documents files.

Then try to add some documents in the following subforms, nothing is displayed in the list.

The problem is not the button but the display of "allowed" documents. On top of that I am not allowed to upload normally accepted files. Except on the first occurence of the subform.

I think I may have fixed this by unistalling and re-installing JCE Pro 2.9.81

Can you confirm?

You're right it is working fine now on both sites development and production.

Thanks a lot!
