First, thank you SO MUCH for adding the ability to copy and paste multiple cells from excel into a table - saves me hours of work!
If I'm in code view and - for example -- select this line "<td> </td>" there may be 20 other identical lines that are shown as selected. Is there a key combination on a mac that will allow me to remove/delete all instances of the selected line?

No, but you can use Search and Replace in the Code Editor to do it, eg:
