I was trying to upgrade from JCE to JCE pro and I'm not sure what happened by now no matter where I go in the Joomla Admin Console I get the error message "Class "WFBrowserHelper" not found". No idea how to proceed.

This might happen if you have previously disabled the System - JCE plugin.
Please delete the following folder using your FTP client or file manager provided by your host - plugins/fields/mediajce
Then uninstall JCE Pro - https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/support/installation/editor#remove - and install the latest version.

I deleted the plugins/fields/mediajce folder. When I go to the Components > JCE Editor Pro > Profiles screen, I get the same error and can't proceed.
