Images are s3 are not appearing.

On trying to access the image, I get the errror as below

<Error> <Code>AccessDenied</Code> <Message>Request has expired</Message> <X-Amz-Expires>3600</X-Amz-Expires> <Expires>2024-12-15T19:23:06Z</Expires> <ServerTime>2024-12-17T09:06:54Z</ServerTime> <RequestId>KNG7VES3K35QQRTM</RequestId> <HostId>+JYJjsBpfAX0F+TtQFxR9+XJIuUWEaZo5x/9s14fyMj56HN0=</HostId> </Error>

If you have insterted S3 images that are private - they have not been made "public" - then those images will only be made available for a short period of time, and then access to those images will expire.

All images are uploaded as private by default. You can change the ACL when you upload an image:

or after it has been uploaded using the Permissions dialog:

Thanks Ryan

I dont get that option while uploading images.? nor do I see the edit ACL icon in image manager.

Ryan

Ok, I assumed you were using the S3 Object Storage Filesystem plugin - https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/downloads/plugins/editor/s3-object-storage-filesystem

Where are you seeing the S3 error message?

Thanks Ryan.

I am indeed using the S3 Storage Filesystem plugin. I can see the ACL option under Edit Profile / Editor Parameters / File System, which I have now changed to public read /write.

However for previously exisiting images, the security option does not show up on the image manager window.

Do you have the latest version of the S3 Storage Filesystem plugin installed, and the latest version of JCE Pro?
