From website front-end, when we upload intro and full images for an article here https://imgur.com/hF5RNl8 , is it possible to set a default and different size for each of them ?

No, the same upload resize settings are applied to both.

I'm not seeing this in my tests. It could be caused by some css added to the page by an editor-xtd button.
