I would like to have access to the files and to the images folder with JCE file browser. How to do?

Ryan

In Editor Profiles -> Editor Parameters -> Filesystem, set the File Directory Path value to "files":

In Editor Profiles -> Plugin Parameters -> Image Manager Extended, set the File Directory Path value to "images":

Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean everybody isn't out to get you.

Alternatively, to access both the files and images folder in the JCE File Browser:

In Editor Profiles -> Editor Parameters -> Filesystem

  • Set the File Directory Path value as empty (remove any value)
  • Set Allow Root Access to Yes
  • For the Directory Filter option add +files then click the plus icons and add +images

Sorry, but the second solution not work.

If i set this:
Editor Profiles -> Editor Parameters -> Filesystem, set the File Directory Path value to "files"
and
Editor Profiles -> Plugin Parameters -> Image Manager Extended, set the File Directory Path value to "images"

It's work, but If I want to set second solution with "allow access" and +files and +images, not work.
When I open my file browser, it's empty.

Here it works fine (Thanks Ryan). Did you gave access to root folder?

stevetheweb

I would like to be able to access both files and images at the same time, so the second solution.

I followed the settings you indicated, as per the attached image.

From the second image, you can see that the file browser directory is empty.

Have you set a File Directory Path value for the File Browser?

Sorry, I tested the issue on another website, and it works there, evidently it is on the first website that there must be some incorrect settings that I will now check and compare
