Hi, I have installed AIa 2.0 with the latest JCE version 2.9.89 and Joomla 5.3.2. When I try to use AIa in an article I get the following response: Ai Response failed: Invalid response. I am using the Gemini AI and have set up an API key. If I check my user panel in Google it shows that I am getting responses with no errors reported. Any thoughts?

I get mixed results with Google Gemini. Sometimes on the first attempt I get an error, then if I retry I get a response, then an error, then a response. 😩
ChatGPT and Anthropic work without issue. Perhaps there is a Gemini setting that needs tweaking.
Which model are you using?

In the Aia parameters, try increasing the Tokens amount to 2048 or more for the Gemini 2.5 Pro model.

Increased tokens to no avail. I got a different error message:
Error: An internal error has occurred. Please retry or report in https://developers.generativeai.google/guide/troubleshooting
I will try a different AI model and see what that does.
Not good, both of the others want to charge me, when I already am paying for Gemini!

I'm working on this and I hope to have an update over the weekend. Gemini seems particularly problematic. I've not had any issues with ChatGPT or Anthropic Claude.

At the moment, it isn’t possible to connect directly to one of your Gems (Google’s custom Gemini setups) through this interface. The Gemini API only allows access to the base models (such as Gemini 2.5 Pro or Gemini 2.5 Flash), not specific Gems.
