Hi,

I'm testing the migration of a test website from 5.3.3 to 6.0 beta 1

The update to 5.4.4 beta 1 worked fine.

The site is multilingual and uses Akeeba backup 10.0.5 Pro and JCE 2.9.89 Pro.

Pre-migration check for version 6 reveals potential problem with JCE

I saw on your forum that version 2.9.90 beta 9 was available and I installed it. The alert is the same on 5.4.4 beta 1.

I ran the migration anyway and got no errors, just a blank page on frontend and backenddespite enabling debugging and maximum error reporting. The administrator page is

/administrator/index.php?option=com_joomlaupdate&task=update.finalise&aa10688e6bcdf10b9248bae1577ab5ae=1

I started again from 5.4.4 without JCE, managed to upgrade to J6, then installed version 2.9.90 beta9 and got a blank page.

Let me know if I can do any other tests to help you.

JCE Pro 2.9.90 will not support Joomla 6. I am preparing a new version that will support Joomla 4, 5 and 6. I hope to a have a beta available in early September.
