since one of the last versions SPAN (might be 2.91) tags are removed by JCE if I am working in Code Mode in a module or article and saveit. If I change to Editor Mode, than I can save the module or article without getting the SPAN tags removed.

In another thread you wrote to go in Editor Profiles -> Editor Parameters -> Advanced, set Protect Shortcode to No but it is set to NO in my editor and still SPAN tags are removedin code view.

This is disturbing because in former versions this works always in code mode too. I am working a lot this self-written CSS classes and use SPAN tags to set them.

If you write some lines with 3 or more classes and all is gone after saving in code mode than it is very frustrating.

This has now happened on several pages.

What do I do wrong?

The RC version seems to work.

I could reproduce the error with the version 2.93 on my basic Joomla installation on my dev-server.

Than I installed th RC version and the SPAN tag was not removed when saving in code mode.
