I've just used the JCE Editor's Enhanced Image tool to create thumbnails of several images, however any image that was not wider than it is tall (450x600 vs 600x450) was rotated when saved by 90 deg, one flipped 180, it was an image that was landscape to start with. It sort of defeats the purpose of this feature. I hope you can have a look, The issue-a image shows the original images, issues-b shows the thumbnails as created by JCE Image editor.
