Where can I find the button (or the feature or plugin)? I have nearly activated everything, but can not find the button ...

It is not included in the editor toolbar by default, so it needs to be added in Editor Profiles -> Features & Layout.

It is not technically an "auto save" as it does not save the article in the same way as clicking the Save button. It is a backup of the editor content to browser storage to restore later in the session if required.
