I have a user who I have set up to be able to create and edit articles in the front end (after login) and they also have limited access to backend assets after login to the backend. I have set up a (limited) user group specifically for them as a child of the administrator group. I have used PWT ACL to ensure they can only see and edit a few specific articles in a few specific categories. - So far so good.
I created a specific JCE Pro profile for the limited user group with a subset of the JCE tools. That profile I assigned solely to the limited user group. Editing in the front end works as ecpected.
Editing the backed doesn’t . No JCE tools show unless I add the user group administrators to my standard superusers JCE profile and then the limited user group get the full JCE pro toolset when editing in the backend and front end.
Is there anyway of solving this to achieve what I would like: Limited JCE pro toolset in front and backend editing. But superuser still getting the full toolset.
