JCE 2.9.96 on Joomla 5.4.0 - will not allow imbedding of new Vimeo videos in Joomla articles.  I've attached sample failures from Firefox in the JCE Pro editor 2.9.96 (back-end) and from Chrome on a webpage (front-end) produced with 2.9.96.

We had to roll back to 2,9,95, which works correctly on both ends.

Please try JCE Pro 2.9.97 Beta - https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/downloads/editor/pro/development

Clear you browser cache after install.

Hi Ryan,

Thanks for the quick response!

Unfortunately, the install doesn't seem to work on my test site - see attached.

Cheers,

Steve

Apologies, I was using the UK spelling of LICENCE instead of LICENSE in the package manifest, which caused the installation error. 😭

Fixed in JCE Pro 2.9.97 Beta 2 - https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/downloads/editor/pro/development

No problem - and once again thanks for the speedy reply!  I understand the spelling issue, having lived in England for several years in the last century - I'm still uncomfortable spelling "neighbor" without the "u".

Your Beta has fixed the issue. I'd like to add that I've been using JCE Pro since its inception and have found it to be the most reliable of Joomla extensions. Bravo!!!

It's difficult having to remember to spell things incorrectly all the time! 😜
