Hi Ryan, could you please look into this.

The steps to reproduce the bug: Create a custom field of type "subform" (aka "repeatable") for content articles; Create a user group that has full permissions to edit articles and their custom fields, but not included in the JCE default profile "user groups"; Assign this group to a test user; Login as this test user in front-end and open an existing article for editing (or add a new). 

Expected behaviour: the subform custom field should be editable regardless of the JCE editor state. 

The issue: Control buttons (add/remove/reorder) and/or inputs of the custom field are hidden and disabled by JCE init script. As a result, you can't add or manage existing custom fields. Same applies to any custom fields with control buttons in their layouts.

Versions: Joomla 5.4.1 & JCE 2.9.96.
