High Ryan,

I installed the JCE 3.0.0 Beta5..

My earlier reported issues are away now, but there are others.

1. First of all the installation destroyes the older editor-configurations parms.  It took my a bit time to recover al that.

2. Also the german language is not available after the update.   

But now some other issues:

a) When opening the editor, a <p>...</p>-Tag is surrounded  see: https://www.screenpresso.com/=Derd8USDSx4H
b) In the 2.9.99.x version I could remove the p-Tag by clicking to the p-pushdown field in the toolbar.  That dosen't work correctly at the moment in 3.0.0 xxx. (sometimes it works and sometimes not  I have no idea why. The configuration of the pushdown-field is: set  - as in 2.9.99.xx -  to none:paragraph.
c) The toolbar-selector icon can be set to the toolbar, but its position isn't  saved.  see: see https://www.screenpresso.com/=Derd8USDSx4H  last sceens

d) IME: When trying to setup a lightbox-popup to a picture, the  selected image is also set to the URL-field in the image-tab

f) Language. I download the german language package from your website.
   - first of all the is no file for JCE 3.x.y     I select the  one for 2.x.y

     I cleared all caches!

I'm leaving JCE3.x.x and go to 2.9.99.Betax because of to much issues and no reactions since 3 days.

thanks to your answer.

Ich versuche die Beta-Versionen immer in meiner Produktionsumgebung zu testen, weill es f- ür mich - keine bessere Möglichkeit gibt die vielfälltigen Funktionalitäten von JCE zu testen. Mir ist klar, dass ich so sicher auch nicht eine vollumfängliche Prüfung machen kann, aber die für mich wichtigen Funktion, kann ich dann trotzdem erreichen. Ich habe keine Zeit, das alles gezielt in einer Testumgebung abzuprüfen. 

I always try to test the beta versions in my production environment because, for me, there's no better way to test the diverse functionalities of JCE. I understand that this won't allow me to conduct a comprehensive test, but I can still access the functions that are important to me. I simply don't have the time to systematically test everything in a dedicated test environment.
