Since updating to 2.9.99.6 I keep receiving the following warning message, when using the media manager in JCE editor:
"Joomla\Filesystem\Path:check(): Use of relative paths not permitted"
This occurs when navigating to the images root directory - the warning doesn't appear when chosing a subdirectory.

Same error here and with "Access to the target directory is restricted" depends of the JCE page : Image and files, Image manager, files manager...
It happens after the 2.9.99.6 security fix ;-) We have a public presentation today, so I hope it's not complex to resolve ;-)

Same issue for the "Access to the target directory is restricted" withe attached config
Yes, media is now a restricted folder as it is a system folder.
I've had to be a lot more strict with this update, so all existing system folders - any folder that contains Joomla core assets - are now restricted.
I am working on a filesystem plugin that will allow access to any folder - optional install at your own risk - that I will have available by the end of the week.

This update broke my currents projects. We need a solution untill a new version because we have about 2 hundred ppl waiting to see this working. Can I have the 2.9.99.5 version someewhere ?
