I've been cleaning up the folder structure and image filenames on Joomla through a combination of Webmin's File Manager and a Joomla extension R2H Image Manager.  If I make a new folder called 2026, rename an existing folder from 05-2026 to 2026-05, and move the renamed folder under the 2026 folder (result:  2026\2026-05) using R2H, Webmin File Mgr correctly displays the change.  Any folder and file changes made through R2H causes R2H to directly change the references to the affected files in the Image Manager > Image > URL field.

Since we've got the JCE File Browser enabled, I assume the Image Manager is based on JCE File Browser, because accessing the JCE File Browser through Components > JCE Editor Pro > JCE File Browser displays the same "Invalid path" error (attached).

That helped a bit.  JCE File Browser recognized a renamed file and a renamed folder (and this seemed to allow R2H to revise the URL for the image in the article) - it did NOT consistently recognize a moved folder (and did NOT seem to allow R2H to change the URL to reflect the folder move).

I assume there's a native Joomla capability to select image files for articles.  As a next step, might it make sense to disable JCE File Browser and try with Joomla's native capabilities?  If so, how should I disable JCE File Browser?
