J6.1.2 with JCE Pro 3.0.0. RC5 installed.
Since some beta versions, the "Alignment"-option has been available when, for example, editing a table.
My question is, what is this option needed for? Isn't it also found, for example, under the table/cell options?
The Alignment option sets the table cell alignment.

Mh, isn't that redundant to the alignment option in the "table cell properties" popup?
If not, why it is only named as "alignment" and not as" table cell alignment" ?
And why there is no icon in front?

It is a generic alignment for all relevant items, table cells, images, text etc.

I can't imagine an example where one would want to align all of the aforementioned things simultaneously?
It's not for aligning "all of the aforementioned things simultaneously", but an easy way to align a single item, eg: click on an image, right click, Alignment -> Right.
