typo....php 5.6.28
thanks I do not understand why an update from "non-pro" does not works and that an uninstall and reinstall is needed (that works btw) I consider that bad BC compatibility (!) Please explain why that is not working? That means we have to upgrade with uninstall and reinstall hundreds of client sites with this crap?
Leo (not happy)

Really? After all these years you choose to disrespect me and this forum with a response like this?
The update from JCE 2.6 Core to Pro and from JCE 2.5 to JCE 2.6 has not gone as smoothly as I would have liked, but it has been tested by me and many others over this last week and has proved mostly to be successful.
The issue might be with your server.
Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean everybody isn't out to get you.
After all these years you choose to disrespect meSeriously? Are you nuts?
I have been for over 10 years your biggest supporter here and on the Joomla forums and you give me that crap? Having your (bad) period? You have any idea how many hundreds if not thousands people who pay for your (great) extension we have send yo you?+
BS as you are well aware.., All extensions work well with our fully optimized Joomla packages on our servers so cut the crap!
The issue might be with your server.
Sick!
I will be more than pleased to withdraw my support (incl.Joomla forums) based on your "worthless" remarks
*SICK**
Note: I will post a blog-post on our site on this issue...You do not publicly screw our business

ouch.
It's been a stressful week, with lots of bug fixes.
If anyone reviewed the forums in the last few days before posting, they would see incredible support from JCE.
I've got hundreds of sites to support also, which is why I upgraded only a couple as a test and saw issues. As it was being handled very well, I feel comfortable giving developers some time to deal with the issues rather than soft-handling customers.
I understand the stress of calculating manual upgrades on extensions, bringing back memories of the Joomla upgrade/migrations of past. But, to blame Ryan for bad backwards compatibility due to some possible glitches on some sites is, during this week, pretty disrespectful.
Take a look at how productive he's been this week and you can see how Ryan felt the pain of his project being called 'crap'.
Ryan, your work is noticed and appreciated.

@sevenages,
Nobody called JCE here 'crap.' In contrary.....
You need to buy some glasses mate so you read better perhaps? I called the reaction 'crap' [glasses!]
Besides that your reaction is pretty pathetic. However this is a JCE forum and not a place to have (with you) a worthless exchange over an issue between Ryan and me. Stay out of this discussion and mind your own business otherwise connect with me on glip.com/joomla in the Joomla CMS Release Team or Joomla Bug Squad if you have anything positive to contribute?
