I am trying to edit images on my test site which is hosted in a WAMP environment on my home computer. WAMP is running PHP 5.5.12
When I try to edit with Image Manager Extended I get the corrupted toolbox as shown in the attached file IME - corrupted view.
If I use the standard Image Manager everything works OK as in the attachment IM - OK View
Image Manager Extended works OK on the live site, running PHP 5.6
The back up site I am working on was created from an Akeeba backup of the live site taken this morning. The Joomla version on both live and test is Joomla 3.5.1 All JCE core and add-ons are the latest versions.
I can work with the standard Image Manager but I would prefer to use Image Manager Extended.
I assume that I have a clash between a couple of plugins, component, modules etc and JCE but I don't know where to begin looking for such a clash.
I would be grateful for any suggestions as to how to get Image Manager Extended working properly on the test site.
Thanks

Yes, and i already tried to install it again. But i am also working with wamp. I think it's coming from wamp's parameters.
But it would be very handy to have it working with wamp.
it seems that the pop up of the manager can not load some relative links (as background... ) due to the "localhost" in wamp.(yes i didn't take the care of setting virtual hosts.) i might make some other test.
i think it might work from another computer on my network. (lan).
