I am using Front End editing of articles to make life easier with joomla, and using JCE editor as my default editor, following are details of my installation: Joomla: 1.5.18 JCE: 1.5.7.4 (for both Component & JCE Plugin) Browser: Firefox 3.6.3 when I edit an article on joomla front end, it shows first toolbar of editor window and then directly shows footer next to it (by footer I mean the footer buttons like Read more, Image etc.) When I check source code of loaded page, the Editor Iframe have source value as " javascript::"" " not sure if this is wrong..?

    Please post a screenshot.
Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean everybody isn't out to get you.

Do you only get this problem in the front-end?

What does the editor look like in the back-end?

Do you get the same problem in the front-end with a different template or with the default TinyMCE editor?

I tried Tiny mce with my existing template but that also doesn't work with it, then I tried JCE and tiny mce editor with default beez template and both editor works with it, so can it be a problem with template..? or some kind of java script clashes..?

Its most likely a css conflict than a javascript one. If its a custom built template you're going to have to go in and find the conflicting styles.
