Hi Ryan,
... another one. Not sure if this is an editor or Mediabox problem.:)

When doing a multiple Mediabox-Popup the pic is opened, but the popup always shows the pic of the previous popup.
So the popup-order is out of sequenze.

Please post a link to an example.

Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean everybody isn't out to get you.

Hi Ryan,

you can check it on the site I sent to you with other login-informations via email.

Ryan
Because you have align the images to the right, which uses a float:right style, the order of the images as they appear on the page is different to the order of the images in the HTML, which is why the sequence is different in the popup.

It might be better to use Columns to create 2 blocks with the text on the left nad images on the right, rather than aligning right in the paragraph, so the popup order is maintained.

Hi Ryan,

I changed to columns as you said, but the effect isn't away. The popup sequence is still not correct.

It seams that the first popup-window displays the second one and so on in that chain.
All popups correspond to the same group name !

You can see it on the page, I haven't changed back already.

PS:
I don't like these columns, because the text-flow isn't comfortable managed.
I earlier versions of JCE - I remind - there wasn't any problem to this.

This might be a MediaBox issue, it is not a JCE editor issue. I will look into it. You will always have a difference between the ordering of items in the popup and the images ddisplayed on the page if you use right align images in this way.

You appear to be using tables, not Columns. You can read more about creating Columns here - https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/support/documentation/columns/creating-and-editing-columns

Please try JCE MediaBox 2.1.2 RC - https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/downloads/mediabox/development

Hi Ryan,

I installed that Mediabox RC5.
The correct popup for the thumbnail is now displayed, but the order is still not correct.
If I click on the left picture, the 5th entry is highlighted in the popup below, etc.

Ryan
I've copied the entire contents of that article into one on my local test site, and when opening a popup, the images are shown in the correct order.

I'm not sure why this would then behave differently on your site.

Hi Ryan,

sorry all back.

I have deinstalled the Mediabox plugin and reinstalled Mediabox 2.1.2RC5.

After that, all errors are back. See videos:

pics in table-cells https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/7rr2lsnqjtmde0g/2021-02-04_16h03_01.mp4?dl=0

pics with floating https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/szdsc37wv8vg7nb/2021-02-04_16h06_20.mp4?dl=0

I can't follow, why this in your test-environment works like you showed.:(

This is not an error or bug, but they way it will display if you use float:right on the images.

HGH
Sorry Ryan,

I'm totally confused.
Please checkout the behavior on my site.

Can you give me the exact code of your example ?

Ryan
1. I don't know why there is a difference with the display of the popups in the table images with the code I copied from your site, to the actual display on your site. There must be something else outisde of the article that is affecting the popup order.

2. With float:right images, the order of the popups will always be the opposite to the order of the image thumbnails, as that is what using float:right does, it reverses the order of the images to align them, but does not change their order in the HTML. If you changed the alignment of those images to left, then the ordering would be the same as the popup.

Ryan
So, don't use Align Right for groups of images if they are going to be popups. Rather uses tables or Columns to create the structure.

Ryan
I'm continuing to look into this, I'll post here if I have a solution.

For the images that you have moved into Columns, remove the float and margin styles from them. You can do this by selecting the image and clicking the Remove Format button in the editor toolbar.

Ryan
Do you have other pages on the site that have a similar multiple image popup gallery?
