In Joomla 4, using the Cassiopeia template, I created a Custom Module, and was able to use the JCE editor to create text. However, when I attempted to insert a table, the dialog box came up, but the Insert button was inert, and simply wouldn't insert the table.

I was able to create a table by hand, in HTML, so Custom Modules definitely support tables.
