Hi,
I am using JCE on one site.
However, I want to exclude it from one extension. There I want to use the Tiny MCE.
I change the extensions in the profile from "all extensions" to "select from list". There are all extensions now, except the only one, I want to use Tiny MCE.

What do I need in global configuration? Default set to JCE?
What do I need for the users? Default
Where can I define the fallback to Tiny?

Right now, I don't have any editor in the editorfield at all. So I cannot change anything.
Thanks

It's not possible to do this from within a JCE profile. Restricting JCE to specific components will only load a read-only version of the JCE, not another editor.

The extension in question would need to allow the use of a different editor to the one set in the Joomla configuration to get the result you want. I think there is/was also a plugin that allowed dynamic switching or the editor - https://extensions.joomla.org/extension/editor-switcher/

ok. thanks for your answer and the information.
Then I have another question:
I am using "VP Email Manager". The Email templates are quite complex with a lot of email/outlook special code in the HTML editor.
When I open and save the template with active JCE, the template is broken.

Is there an option to prevent any html code changes in a profile?
It can be a very simple profile.
It should just not touch the existing HTML-Code.
Which option do I have to turn off?

Thanks

email/outlook special code

Can you give an example of this?
