Is there a possibility to disable the zoom after the popup of an image? Hovering over the image shows a magnifier glass and clicking shows the image in its actual (100%) size, I my case images bigger than the screen. Why am I looking to disable it:

  • I don't need it;
  • After returning from the full image view in case of a larger image (>2000px), the window's navigator bar at the bottom (showing the number of images and back/forth) falls off the screen (attachment 1) and is not visible anymore. Pushing the left or right keys results in a realignment of the window and the navigator bar is properly visible again.

A solution for this problem is to resize all images to have a max width of 1024 or 1280 pixels. That is going to take me some time. A quicker fix would be to disable the zoom and then all works fine.

Side question: is there a reason why the back button is black a the forth is grey in the situation of a group with more than three images and looking at an image that is not the first or the last? Hovering over the back button makes it grey. Hovering over the forth button does not change it's color. See attachment 2.

Kind regards,

Paul

Please try JCE MediaBox 2.1.10 RC - https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/downloads/mediabox/development

I'm not sure about adding an option for this yet, but may do so in the final release.

The button is highlighted becuase it has focus. Pressing enter will trigger the action of any focused button. Pressing Tab cycles focus through the visible buttons.

Hello Ryan, thanks for the quick reply.

Regarding the first question: 2.1.10 RC seems to work fine with larger images, so that problem has been resolved. For my own curiosity: does it take a lot of effort to code the option in to disable the zoom?

Regarding the second question: I was not aware of this. Playing around with it in group of 3 images, gave me the impression that while pressing tab, there are sometimes states that don't have a focus button. Pressing enter at that moment does not have any effect, which is logical. With the second image there even seems to be two of those states after each other. And with the third image, I can't get to close button with the tab key. Small issues, but perhaps worthwhile taking a look at before the final release.

Kind regards,

Paul

I have added an option for this in MediaBox 2.1.10 RC2 - https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/downloads/mediabox/development

The focus you are not seeing is probably the image itself, which can also receive focus on tab. RC2 updates the focus styling for some elements including the image container.

Tested the Expand on Click option in 2.1.10 RC2 and it works like a charm! Also tested the focus elements and cycling through them. Also works. Thanks a lot. I appreciate your efforts. I'll close the ticket.
