Hi

I have activate in the JCE MediaBox Popups in the Plugin Parameters - Image Manager Extended - the JCE Media Popup function.

When i insert a picture, the field "Popup Type" under register Popups will show "JCE MediaBox Popup" - but in the field URL will not set the adress for the popup-picture. the field is empty - too, when i save all. The result is, that no popup will show.

When i insert a picture, the field "Popup Type" under register Popups will show "JCE MediaBox Popup" - but in the field URL will not set the adress for the popup-picture.

When creating a popup in the Image Manager Extended there are 2 image URLs, one for the thumbnail or target image that the user clicks on, and the second for the image that is to be displayed in the popup.

Once you have selected the first image, in the Image tab, click on the Popup tab and select JCE MediaBox Popup from the Popups list. This will automatically fill the URL field with the same value as in the Image tab.

Alternatively, click in the URL field in the Popup tab and select the same or another image to fill the field with the image url value.

I have set the settings so that JCE Mediabox popups are automatically inserted in the PopUp Type field.
I think that previously the URL was inserted automatically.
This means that when a user inserts an image, the PopUp function is automatically activated.

Ryan

This was changed in the past as it was confusing for some users whoe would set MediaBox Popups as the default, not intending it to create a popup for each image.

Now, when the Popup Type is set to a specific option in the Image Manager Extended (or Link) parameters, this only sets the value for the Popup Type. You now need to click in the URL field in the Popup tab and select the required popup image.

OK - too bad. My customers liked this feature.

Ryan

I am going to have another look at this and maybe restore the previous behaviour.

Hi Ryan

That's great!

Thank you

Ryan

Just an update on this. In my tests, when JCE MediaBox Popups is set as the "Default" in the Popups option, then selecting an image will Insert the image with a popup link with the same image URL, even though it does not fill the URL value in the Popups tab.

I guess this is a little bit confusing, so I will fix this in the next update so the URL value is also filled.

Hi Ryan

Yes - this is so. when the customer klick on the image, the field will fulled with the url.

It's no very important, but when this will work in a future update, that's great.

Many thanks for your great work!
