Hello, here's my problem: I have a photography website and I'm using JCE's MediaBox. The photographs are organized by theme, one page per theme. So, on each page, I have thumbnails that I've arranged using Gantry's Hydrogen template. When I click on one of these thumbnails, I access the MediaBox pop-up, where I can scroll through all the photographs in the theme. They are grouped (using the "group" option). I don't fill in the resizing fields because I do that manually in Photoshop. The images are in WebP format, and I resize them to find the best compromise between quality and file size, so they display almost instantly. When I updated several Joomla plugins, the pop-up images took a few seconds to load. I restored my site with MediaBox 2.2.1, and everything works fine; the images display instantly. Could the Mediabox 2.2.2 update (fixed transition effects, opacity scale when navigating between grouped images) be the source of the problem? Or is it unrelated? If I can't resolve this issue and therefore have to remain on Mediabox version 2.2.1, is this version compatible with Joomla 6? Thank you for your help.

It could be, but I would need to see this in operation to confirm.

Yes, 2.2.1 is compatible with Joomla 6. I have tested it on Joomla 6.1 with the Behaviour - Compatability plugin disabled.

Yes, I tested the Mediabox 2.2.4 update and noticed that the pop-up images were loading slowly. So I restored my previous version of the site, which was working with Mediabox 2.2.1. No problem, the images loaded immediately. Then, after updating to Mediabox 2.2.2, it stopped working; the images loaded slowly. The same thing happened with updates 2.2.3 and 2.2.4. So I restored my previous version of the site again, using Mediabox 2.2.1. I also updated all the other plugins and I'm sticking with 2.2.1, which suits me perfectly. Thank you for your reply, especially since I'm completely reassured that version 2.2.1 works with Joomla 6. The remaining question is why this slow pop-up loading only affects me, as I haven't found anyone else on the forum experiencing this problem. I deduce that Mediabox versions higher than 2.2.1 must be conflicting with something specific to my site, but since I'm hopeless with computers, I'd be completely unable to resolve it. But no worries, I've tested many different pop-ups and I find Mediabox perfect on both PC and laptop. Thanks again.
