When I open the editor it defaults to the collapsed toolbar toggle position and I have to click the "toggle toolbar" button each time to expand it. This only happens on one of my sites. Any ideas?

This is the normal behaviour. The toolbar is always collapsed until the button is clicked.
Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean everybody isn't out to get you.

Any chance to be changed? Like an
- option "Start always expanded / always collapsed" or
- start with same setting as you closed the editor?

This will be added in the next update. The state will be stored for the duration of the browser session (until the browser is closed)
