Can you please explain how to place a link to another website page in the caption area of the popup box?

Thanks.

Include the link as part of the caption text eg:

Search with Google - http://www.google.com

You could probably do that by adding some css to your template stylesheet, eg:

div#jcemediabox-popup-caption a {
background : url(../img/image.png) no-repeat left center;
padding-left : 24px;
}

or, for a more specific link :

div#jcemediabox-popup-caption a[href="http://www.google.com"] {
background : url(../img/google.png) no-repeat left center;
padding-left : 24px;
}

Thanks again for your help. I tried the second piece of code and tried to link into images/enquire.png but it does not show on the code. I tried your first suggestion in this code and you can see how it looks at http://www.mariamitchell.co.uk/index.php/galleries/landscapes under the first painting caption for tenderness but I would prefer if possible something similar to the purchase and commission another links in the captions on http://www.sarasherwood.co.uk/art.php?cat=Cityscapes&strip=33 if possible. It just looks a bit strange having a long website address in the caption part.

I copied the second section of code into the template.css for the template I am using in Joomla. Is that ok? What else could I be doing wrong?

Thanks. Andrew.

With a little css trickery...

div#jcemediabox-popup-caption a {
background: url(../../../images/enquire.png) no-repeat left center;
font-size: 0;
height: 24px;
display: inline-block;
vertical-align: middle;
width: 77px;
}

You can remove the "Enquire Now -" part from your caption.

I have copied the code that you gave me last with no code for the link. Tenderness should have the enquire box in the caption.

Thanks.

The css code above must go in your template stylesheet.

You sill need to add the link to the caption text as before.

Hi,

I have copied the code into the template.css file but the button is still not appearing in the caption text. I have the png file in the main images directory.

Thanks for all your help.

You must put the link URL in the caption text too.

No, the link must be in the original popup caption text. Leave the css as I posted it :

Search with Google - http://www.google.com
Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean everybody isn't out to get you.

I'm not 100% sure using font-size:0 will work in IE7.

You might also try :

div#jcemediabox-popup-caption a {
background: url(../../../images/enquire.png) no-repeat left center;
text-indent: -9999px;
text-transform: capitalize;
height: 24px;
display: inline-block;
vertical-align: middle;
width: 77px;
}
