Hi Ryan,
we are having a multilingual site (Joomla 3.4.4 and latest version of JCE extended). To make live easier for the different Human Editors and of course myself as super user I try to set up the JCE Editor as comfortable as possible.
In some articles I am using classes for example:
In Screenshot (JCE1-without-show-hide-block-elements.jpg) without -show hide block elements- the divs sit next to each other like they will in live view.
In Screenshot (JCE2-with-show-hide-block-elements.jpg) with -show hide block elements- the divs are not sitting next to each other.
I understand why it is that way (show block elements needs more space). But for the different human editors (for each language another one) it may be distracting to them while editing. And they make errors and delete divs by mistake.
Is it possible to get the view of the divs the same like in Screenshot (JCE1-without-show-hide-block-elements.jpg) even when show block elements are enabled?
Thanks in advance.
Petra

Do you have a solution to fix that for IE Browsers as well?
In my tests this works fine in IE11 and Edge, although not in IE8.
There isn't anything I can do about IE8, except to remove the border and padding of the Visual Blocks, which defeats the point.
Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean everybody isn't out to get you.
