Since use of CloudFront makes direct links to s3 buckets impossible it's harder to get correct links in the editor.
It works fine for inserting but not displaying content.
Can we add a CDN URL listing in the plugin?
Not that you need it but you can find similar on the Akeeba S3 file system gethub (which I would guess is largely based off your own work)

The equivalent for the S3 Object Storage plugin is the CNAME option in the parameters. You can set the CDN URL here, eg: cdn.joomlacontenteditor.net
