The JCE Subscription is changing
Note: This article has been updated to reflect the changes to these plans announced here.
From 1st July 2024, we are updating the JCE Subscription to include three distinct Subscription Plans. This change is designed to better reflect the value of our products and services and to provide organisations with the opportunity to select a plan that best represents their size, usage, and requirements.
The Ultimate Subscription is currently not available. All proposed features - except for Proxy Keys - are available in the Pro Subscription Tier.
JCE Subscription Plans
The JCE Subscription will be available in 3 Plans - Pro, Ultimate and Agency.
Pro Subscription Plan - €39 a year
- Access: Full access to the JCE Pro Editor. Install and use on unlimited sites.
- JCE Plugins: Includes ChatGPT, S3 Object Storage, Font Awesome, and more.
- Coming Soon! Tinymce Plugins: Plugins for Joomla's Tinymce editor, such as Aia - Ai Assistant, Microdata, Paste, and Columns.
- Support: Submit public tickets in our support forum.
- 5 Proxy Subscription Keys: Create up to 5 unique Subscription Keys for clients.
Ultimate Subscription Plan - €49 a year
Ideal for small teams or organizations, this plan includes everything in the Pro Plan, plus:
- Access: Unlimited Sites
- JCE Plugins: Includes ChatGPT, S3 Object Storage, Font Awesome, and more.
- Tinymce Plugins: Plugins for Joomla's Tinymce editor, such as ChatGPT, Microdata, Paste, and Columns.
- 10 Proxy Subscription Keys: Create up to 10 unique Subscription Keys for clients.
Agency Subscription Plan - €129 a year
Designed for large teams or organizations, this plan includes everything in the Pro Plan, plus:
- Access: Install and use on unlimited sites.
- Prioritized, Private Ticket Support: Submit private tickets in a dedicated forum with a 24-hour response time during business hours.
- Email Support: Private email support using a dedicated address.
- 25 Proxy Keys: Create up to 25 unique Subscription Keys for clients.
Your investment in this plan not only provides these premium features but also supports the long-term future of the project, helping us continue to improve and expand our offerings.
Although there are no installation, usage, or update limits in any of the new plans, we encourage you to consider selecting the Subscription Plan that best suits your organization's size and usage of the JCE Pro Editor.
Renewals and Upgrades
Each Subscription Plan includes a Renewal option priced at least 20% less than the standard price, allowing for the continuation of your subscription at a discounted rate. Furthermore, each plan is designed to be flexible, enabling smooth transitions between tiers. For instance, when your JCE Pro Plan is due for renewal, you have the option to upgrade to either the Ultimate Renewal Plan or the Agency Renewal Plan instead.
Additionally, should your needs change over time, you can upgrade your subscription to a higher tier while your current plan is still active. The upgrade cost is simply the price difference between the two plans. For example, transitioning from the Pro Plan to the Agency Plan incurs a nominal fee of €90, or €70 if you are on the renewal path (or equivalent in other currencies such as USD, GBP, etc.).
No Change for Existing Active Subscriptions
Subscriptions purchased before 1st July 2024 will continue to grant full access to the JCE Pro Editor, JCE Plugins, and unlimited updates for the duration of the subscription. Upon renewal or expiration, the new Subscription Plans will take effect.
Training and Consultation Services
To further support your organization's needs, we now offer remote Training and Consultation Services. These sessions are available via Zoom or Microsoft Teams, exclusively for UK and EU VAT registered businesses.
