Hello, the editor has changed appearance (it's ugly) version 2.8
On the other hand, the photos are poorly managed or are no longer managed. Small square in place of the photo.

You can change back the old toolbar - https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/support/faq/editor/classic-toolbar-theme

I'm not sure what you mean. Please explain further and include a screenshot if possible.

The "insert image" button no longer appears at the bottom of the editor

Why do you need it, when you have superior options (Image Manager, Image Manager Extended) in the editor toolbar?

Try JCE Pro 2.8.1 RC7, the missing buttons will be back - https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/downloads/editor/pro/development
