Hi,

I have a problem with JCE and Joomshaper SP Page Builder.

I have contacted Joomshaper support and they told le this (see link below, last post) :

I am unable to replicate this issue with the latest version of SP Page Builder (3.7.1) and JCE Editor Pro (2.8.10)

ok done.

I have updated JCE to latest version and same problem.
when JCE enabled : problem on sp page builder when I duplicate an addon
when JCE disabled: works fine on sp page builder when I duplicate an addon

I'm sorry but this error is buried so deeply inside the obfuscated SP Page Builder Code that I am unable to to determine the cause.

If the SP Page Builder developers can troubleshoot the issue, I would be happy to attempt to find a fix, but JoomShaper use their own custom javascript methods for initialising the Joomla editor, not the Joomla API, and obviously don't test any changes they make to their system with other editors.

Are you using any SP Page Builder plugins not included with the standard version?

In my tests with SP Page Builder, and in the demo JoomShaper support linked to, JCE and SP Page Builder work without the issue you descibe. I assume that both these test versions use a stadnard install of SP Page Builder, so perhaps there is some difference between them and your version that is causing the issue?

Unfortunately there is nothing I can do to help here. As I am unable to reproduce the error locally, I can't attempt the painful process of troubleshooting the issue by digging throught SP PageBuilder code, which is where the error appers to lie. Unless JoomShaper are going to help with this, which they apparently don't appear to be willing to do, this issue is not going to get resolved.
