RSTickets Pro is probably the #1 Support Ticket Management product available for Joomla. When someone adds a support ticket there is a TEXT field and JCE Eitor Pro will not all the user to enter data. We changed our default editor to Tiny---- and all is fine now.

This is very disappointing as I paid good money for your editor. Can anything be done?

Thanks,

Bruce

You need to create an editor profile that allows registered users to use the editor, ideally only within the context of RSTickets Pro, and limiting the functions of the editor.

1. Go to Components -> JCE Editor -> Profiles
2. Check the Front-End profile, and click the Copy button.
3. Click on the new profile create (Copy of Front End) to edit it.
4. Give the profile a Title and Description, set the Status to Published, and set the Ordering to First

5. For Components, check Select from list, and then click in the field to find and select RS Tickets Pro
6. Select Registered in the User Groups field (and any other groups you would like to use this profile)

7. IMPORTANT - Click on the Features & Layout tab, and add or remove any buttons you do or do not want the user to have access to.
8. Click Save.

When submitting a ticket in the front-end, the user should now see the editor you have configured in the profile.
