Hi,

Using JCE 2.8.15 RC2 (installed, hoping my problem might have already been solved...but the problem was already visible in JCE Pro version 2.8.14)

When editing a form in RSForm plugin, upon trying to save the edited form, I get a popup, asking me if "I would like to leave the page...", with 2 options: - Cancel - Accept.

Giving me 2 options:
- Cancel will also cancel the changes.
- Accept, sometimes saves the edited form, but in some cases, the changes are ignored.

This strange behavior is not shown when switching to TinyMCE as standard editor.

Thanks for looking into this,

Ryan
Does this only happen with RSForms? Do you get the same message when editing a Joomla article?

Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean everybody isn't out to get you.

It only happens with RSForms, not with articles.
Also when I switch to TinyMCE the problem does not appear.

The message is generated by the Auto Backup plugin, which periodically saves the editor content to browser storage as a temporary backup. You can disable the message by setting autosave_ask_before_unload to false in the Editor Global Configuration,in the Custom Configuration Variables section, which I have done on your test site.

If you don't need the Auto Backup plugin, you can remove it from the toolbar in Editor Profiles -> Features & Layout.

That's a briliant solution, Ryan. Thanks for changing my setting, showing what this is about...
