Hi,

I have an issue and I can't seem to solve it...

I have a JCE Profile for front-end editing (bc even simple Registered users can Create an Article in a given Category).
I use the Image Manager Extended so that users can simply drag&drop their images in the Editor.

If I am logged in as Super User, I can drag&drop my image & save from front-end... and the image is indeed savec.
But if I am logged in as Registered User, I can drag&drop my image & save from front-end... but only the text is actually saved: the image is stripped.

How comes ? Where did I miss an option ?

Txs !

Ryan
The Joomla Text Filter is probably set to filter HTML for registered users, so the <img> HTML is being removed by Joomla on saving.

Go to System -> Global Configuration and click on the Text Filters tab. For Registered, set the Filter Type to Default Blacklist, to aonly allow a limited set of tags. Alternatively, set to Whitelist and specify the allowed tags and attributes.

Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean everybody isn't out to get you.

Txs Ryan,
That was it! :)
(there are so many options in JCE that I was forgetting that Joomla's General Configuration was also playing a role 😃 )
