Hi,
just by chance, is it possible in JCE MediaBox to load several images, eg 10 images, but limit the number of thumbnails to 4 images, once the pop-up opens is entire gallery that is displayed.

There is no way to limit the display of the number of images assigned to a gallery, except by changing the gallery association. As a gallery of images is determined by each image having the same "group" value when the popup link is created, you can create seperate "galleries" on the same page by having different group values for each gallery.

Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean everybody isn't out to get you.
