Hello, I am testing JCE Pro 2.9.18 on Joomla 4.0.5 now. I received an error message from the system like this:
A PHP Exception occurred on your site. Here you can find the stack trace:

Exception Type: Symfony\Component\ErrorHandler\Error\FatalError
File: /home/XXX/mydomain.com/components/com_jce/editor/tiny_mce/plugins/preview/preview.php
Line: 89
Message: Compile Error: require_once(): Failed opening required '/home/XXX/mydomain.com/components/com_content/helpers/route.php' (include_path='.:/opt/cpanel/ea-php74/root/usr/share/pear')

#0 {main}
Should I respond to this error? Thanks

Ryan
Please try JCE Pro 2.9.19 Beta - https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/downloads/editor/pro/development

Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean everybody isn't out to get you.

Thank you for providing the latest version.
After updating to 2.9.19, the Remove formatting button doesn't seem to work.

I will report again if I encounter any errors.

Go to Editor Profiles > Editor Parameters > Advanced and click Select button on Startup Content > File. I faced an error like following:
<strong>An error has occurred.</strong>
0 Invalid controller: name='mediafield', format=''

My backend language is usually Japanese.
If I access Editor Profiles > Plugin Parameters with the language set to Japanese, the right section will not be displayed properly. (If I set the language to English, this issue does not occur.)

Whenever I click on any menu in the left section, Format Select will always appear in the right section. Also, clicking on any of the menus under the Format Selection menu in the left section will always create only a Format Selection in the right section.

I downloaded a Japanese file from your site. Is this due to a language file?

There was an error in the language file that would result in malformed HTML in Editor Profiles. I have fixed this in the relevant language file. Please download and install again - https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/downloads/languages/editor/ja-jp

Is this with JCE Pro 2.9.19?

I tried it with a file comparison tool. I couldn't find your fix. Perhaps you haven't reflected the modified file in the link.

Can you tell me the language string to fix?

I will be testing JCE Pro 2.9.19 RC2 today, by the way.

The error I reported in this thread (#110037) also occurs in JCE Pro 2.9.19 RC2. This error does not improve when switching languages.

I am not able to reproduce this. Please send me a login - https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/contact/site-login

It appears my fix was not sufficient. As I don't speak or write Japanese, fixing this issue is a very difficult task for me. I have notified the volunteer translator of the problem. - https://crowdin.com/project/jceeditor/ja

Your last comment is inconsistent with the comment below and is offensive.

Ryan
I apologise if I offended, I did not mean to.

There appear to be multiple errors in the Japansese language pack, and my fix was not sufficient to solve the issue. As the language pack is created and maintained by a volunteer, and as I do not read or speak Japanese myself, I am unable to find the cause of the issue, which may be related to the translation itself.

I have notified the volunteer translator, and hopefully they will be able to fix the problem.

I think I have found and fixed the error in the language pack. Please download and install the language pack again - https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/downloads/languages/editor/ja-jp

My language issue was solved. Thank you so much, Ryan and the volunteer translator!

The error I reported (#110037) is not important to me at this time so I will not pursue it. But keep in mind the fact that the error is occurring. If I find it due to my environment, I will report it.
