JCE problem
I have installed JCE but I don't see the correct menu, also the “Joomla editor buttons” are missing
There are also no colors to see in the menu.
You can see what I have installed in Extensions and in Plugin

What do you mean by the "correct menu"?

Are you referring the editor-xtd buttons below the editor?

There are also no colors to see in the menu.

Which menu are you referring to?

JCE problem
In my localhost test website, on my MacBook Pro M1, I installed Joomla 4.
Hereby I installed the complete package of JCE.
However, when I choose the JCE word processor option, I don't see all the options.
I also installed JCE on my live website with Joomla 3.x and I changed the menu there and it contains the option Joomla Editor Buttons, and I don't see it now.
I did install Simple Image Gallery and I should see it under that option.

What went wrong?

Which options are missing? You can add any buttons to the editor toolbar you require in Editor Profiles -> Features & Layout.

I also installed JCE on my live website with Joomla 3.x and I changed the menu there and it contains the option Joomla Editor Buttons, and I don't see it now.

The coloured buttons are part of the "Classic" toolbar set, which does not use high-resolution icons. You can select this Toolbar theme in Editor Profiles -> Features & Layout.

Only I don't see the option to use “Simple Image Gallery” yet.

As far as I am aware, Simple Image Gallery is not compatible with Joomla 4 yet - https://www.joomlaworks.net/extensions/commercial/simple-image-gallery-pro

Thank you for your time, I now understand that it works in a different way in Joomla 4 than in Joomla 3.
Perhaps it is indeed not quite ready for Joomla 4
