Hi all,
I like how easy it is to insert a file (in my case PDF) in an article. Is there a way to track clicks/downloads of the file?
I would be great to know how popular some files are.

Thanks.

Ryan
Inserting a link to a file using the File Manager or the Link dialog is done using a simple <a> tag, linking directly to the file. Because of this, it is not possible to track and store clicks.

You could coneivably do this with some kind of site analytics (Google Analytics) etc. or using a Downloads extension to create dedicated file download links - https://extensions.joomla.org/tags/downloads
