Hi,

My website will not update by the normal update option in administrator.

I did insert the correct/latest subscr.key.
Even when I uninstall and re-install the (newest) version, I again run into this errormessage:

0 Joomla\Component\Installer\Administrator\Helper\InstallerHelper::getInstallationXML(): Argument #1 ($element) must be of type string, null given, called in /var/www/vhosts/xxxxx.nl/httpdocs/administrator/components/com_installer/src/Helper/InstallerHelper.php on line 250

( xxxxx is the domainname of the site)

I really don't know what this means.

I hope you have the solution for this.

Hi Ryan,

O...I just now solved the problem. I logged in to make an account for you and did another try to update.
Then I saw and re-used the button with: 'Opnieuw opbouwen' ('Rebuild' in English I guess) in the screen with Update Sites and then I saw the system was rebuilding the update-sites with I believe a message as: rebuilding updatesites by using manifests... something.
After that the message was gone and I could normally update the component.
